Apple Watch Series 12 brings the first genuine chip upgrade to the lineup in three generations — the new S11, following a long stretch where the Series 10, 11, and Ultra 2/3 all reused the same S10/S9-era silicon. Apple's first foldable iPhone is real, and it's called the iPhone Duo — not "iPhone Ultra" or "iPhone Fold" as pre-event rumors guessed. It unfolds to a 7.6" Super Retina XDR display with a nano-texture finish, and folds down to a 5.4" outer screen; both panels run ProMotion and peak at 3,000 nits outdoors. Apple's first touchscreen, OLED Mac laptop — reportedly a new tier sitting above the MacBook Pro rather than replacing it, with the existing Pro lineup staying on sale. The chip plan changed partway through this device's own rumor cycle: Bloomberg says Apple scrapped M6 Pro/Max chips entirely, so this uses the existing M5 Pro/M5 Max silicon instead.
