GSMTechTok Score
A genuinely bright 3,600-nit ProXDR display and a 7,025mAh battery on a compact 6.59-inch flagship — the Hasselblad-tuned main camera carries over the same large 1/1.4-inch sensor as the Pro. Officially sold in the UK (£899) and EU (€999) via Oppo's own October 2025 Barcelona global launch — US availability remains import-only.

The Find X9 suits a buyer who wants most of the Find X9 Pro's headline strengths — a genuinely bright ProXDR display, a large 7,025mAh battery, and Hasselblad-tuned cameras sharing the Pro's large 1/1.4-inch main sensor — in a more compact 6.59-inch body, at a real price saving. Notebookcheck's own review of the standard Find X9 called it relatively impressive for under $900, with a fast SoC, decent cameras, and powerful speakers, but was equally direct that it's the wrong choice for anyone who pushes a phone hard for sustained periods: sustained-load throttling and heat buildup are real, measured trade-offs of chasing flagship specs at this price and size.
Officially sold in the UK (£899) and EU (€999) via Oppo's own October 2025 global launch, rather than import-only like several other China-first flagships in this catalog, is a genuine practical advantage. Notebookcheck's review independently confirmed a fast SoC, bright and sharp AMOLED display, long battery life, good main-camera quality, fast Wi-Fi, and a six-year software-update guarantee — a strong overall package for the price, and the same large 1/1.4-inch Hasselblad main sensor as the pricier Pro model carries over largely intact.
Notebookcheck's review was direct about real, measured weaknesses: severe performance throttling under sustained load, a memory-controller bottleneck that limits speed, a case that can get uncomfortably hot during extended use, no 8K video recording, no UWB module, and only average-quality factory screen protection. Notebookcheck's cons list also flagged PWM flickering despite the panel's high 3,840Hz dimming-frequency spec — a real tension worth flagging for anyone specifically buying this phone to avoid low-brightness flicker, since a high dimming frequency doesn't guarantee flicker-free perception for every user. Camera image quality, while good, was also noted as falling short of that final degree of polish found on top-tier rivals.
